Camelot is unlike 'Merlin' this show is for adults viewers, actually one of the creators is Michael Hirst, who is he? he is the writer for movie Elizabeth and Tudor, and the other is Chris Chibnall and one of his work is Torchwood.
So you can say, the creators are big league, and they know what they are doing.
so, this show is more preferable to Adults than Merlin according to TVByTheNumbers.
Lets just say, it reminded me of True Blood.
